EDUCATION & CREDENTIALS
Monique earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a concentration in music business from Five Towns College in 2018. Originally, Monique planned on person-centered work in a different field, through helping aspiring musicians achieve their dreams.
Monique is currently a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Liberty University. She is anticipating that she will graduate in December 2026. Some of her favorite courses within the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program are Human Development, Multicultural Counseling and Psychopathology.

Monique is committed to walking beside people and creating a safe pace where they can feel seen, heard, and understood as they rewrite some of the hardest moments of their lives. She is also looking forward to ways music and art can be incorporated into her work with clients.

Since 2021, Monique has worked at Breakthrough Intensive Physical Therapy. In her role, she conducts initial intake calls to understand client needs and connect them with appropriate services. During those phone calls, she strives to help physical therapy clients feel heard, supported, and understood from the very first conversation.
Time at Breakthrough is what inspired Monique to pursue a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Through meeting families during some of their most challenging moments of their lives, she discovered her passion for walking alongside people who have lived through unique hardships and are striving toward growth and healing. She continues to be connected to her roots in business, serving as PR Lead (Public Relations) for Breakthrough Physical Therapy's Non-profit organization, The Run to Breakthrough.
